Play Golf With The Pros

Now entering its eighth year, Celebrities Fore Kids Golf Classic has become one of the area's most prestigious golfing events. Larry Laoretti and Gary Carter recruit an impressive list
of sports celebrities to each foursome. Celebrities this past year included NHL Hall of Famer, Clark Gillies: former baseball pro and TV anchor, Jim Kaat, former Baltimore Oriole pitcher &
Hall of Famer Jim Palmer, former PGA tour player
Dana Quigley and many others!.

You will enjoy meeting the celebrities and the camaraderie of playing with your friends and celebrities in our tournament. Join us for an early buffet luncheon and an 18-hole scramble will begin at 12 noon. Cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, dinner, silent and live auctions, and awards ceremony will await you upon your return to the clubhouse. And of course, all the money goes directly to children with cancer and their families on the Treasure Coast.

Larry Laoretti

Larry is once again anchoring the Celebrities Fore Kids Golf Classic. Larry Laoretti became an overnight sensation when he won the U.S. Senior Open in 1992. Larry joined the Senior Tour in 1990 with a runner-up finish at the National Qualifying Tournament following a 28-year career as a
club professional in Jupiter, Florida.

Gary Carter

Gary Carter was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in July 2003. He was an 11-time All-Star throughout his 18-year major league career, during which he hit 324 home runs, had 1,225 RBI and earned three Gold Glove awards. In 1986, his 24 home runs and 105 RBI led the New York Mets to the World Series title. His most recent baseball highlight was managing the St. Lucie Mets to the 2006 Florida State League championship. Also an avid golfer, he shot his career-best 70 at the
LPGA Office Depot Pro-am Tournament in January 1999.
