MISSION STATEMENT
Providing financial assisance to children with cancer, and their families, living on the Treasure Coast.

Who We Are
Celebrities Fore Kids, Inc. is an independent non-profit organization established in December of 1997 in the State of Florida. We are a charitable organization under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service. Our Board of Directors, committees, and volunteers are composed of individuals from a very diverse background. We have representation from the Treasure Coast business community, The Robert and Carol Weissman Cancer Center at Martin Memorial, Martin Memorial Foundation, the Pediatric Oncology Support (POST) at St. Mary's Hospital in West Palm Beach, social workers, investment professionals, and individuals.

We have an independent golf committee that is responsible for our annual fund raising event - a celebrity/amateur golf tournament.
Our organization is an all-volunteer group. The board, in holding to their goal of making a difference in the lives of children who are fighting their battle with cancer has, a mission to direct their efforts to provide support directly to the children and their families on a personal level. To see a smile on the faces of these children and their families within the depths of their despair is worth a thousand words.

Statement of Purpose
The purpose of Celebrities Fore Kids, Inc. is to improve the quality of life for children with cancer who live on the Treasure Coast of Florida. To further this purpose, the organization works closely with agencies, physicians and schools, who can support this effort. Our goal is to offer financial, emotional, and social support to these children and their families. Money will be directed to provide help in transportation costs to treatment centers, emergency funding for daily living needs, medical/prescription costs, individual and/or family counseling, as well as funding other needs associated with the disease.

We have and will continue to make a difference in the lives of these children and their families one step at a time.

How The Money Is Raised
Celebrities Fore Kids, Inc. will host an annual Celebrities Fore Kids Golf Tournament, at a date and place to be determined by the Golf Committee. This is the organization's major fund-raising event, however other events may develop in enhancing our fund-raising goals.

Who Will Benefit
Children with cancer and their families will benefit. Our support will benefit children residing on the Treasure Coast of Florida. At the present time pediatric oncology services are not available locally and these children must travel to other Florida areas for treatment. While this may change in the future, we as an organization wanted to start helping now, and even with the development of sufficient oncology services in our area, there will be continuing needs.

Distribution of Funds
The sponsors and donors of the Celebrities Fore Kids Golf Classic will make their checks payable to Celebrities Fore Kids, Inc. The expenses for the Golf Classic and other expenses associated with the organization will be distributed throughout the year as approved by the Celebrities Fore Kids, Inc. Board of Directors.

The funds will be distributed to the children and their families according to the criteria established by the Board of Directors of Celebrities Fore Kids, Inc., in accordance with their established written guidelines.
